Palm Springs is a very special place...

How many cities do you know of that have countless design obsessed tourists seeking out mid century doors to post on Instagram?! Bold colors, tropical vibes -  It really is a vibrant oasis in the middle of the desert that evokes a certain kind of glamour time capsule that everyone wants to be part of. But you don't need to drive out into the desert to get a dose of its style. We're going to bring that Coachella Valley chic into our own back yard with a Palm Springs inspired table that is filled with texture, pattern, color - and most importantly...personality!

Our look is inspired by Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio and their new limited-edition label designed by Christian Siriano, whose vision is based on the "iconic glamour of Palm Springs, renowned for its floral textiles and bright patterns". There's no question that we layered on the look he speaks of - which is easy to pull off with just a few key details.

So are your bags packed and ready to jet set!? Whether you're hosting your own gathering or joining as a guest - these 4 simple steps will have you throwing on a caftan and sprinkling a little Palm Springs style into all of your summer entertaining!

Think outside of the of the Vase:

Try arranging blooms on the lateral! By using a wood beaded garland as a focal feature, it not only adds unique texture to the table, but it also creates anchors for bouquet bursts. We chose architectural shaped blooms in a warm desert color palette to create a bold visual pop that contrasted with the other colors on the table. When arranging your creation, cut stems short and use floral water tubes to keep them hydrated. Petals will stay perky even on a warm afternoon - just make sure they aren't in direct sunlight!

Liven up your ice bucket - literally!

Who says that you can't treat your ice bucket like a centerpiece?! Especially when showcasing a gorgeous bottle of wine. Try weaving palm fronds inside a glass vessel before filling with ice for an appropriately themed look that also displays your wine beautifully. When dressing the table in the name of Palm Springs, more is better and any opportunity for detail shouldn't be ignored!

Don't hold back on the color... or pattern!

Palm Springs is all about glamour...and bold colors! We paired a classic banana palm print runner with a more abstract tropical print napkin to give the table a modern twist. Where multiple colors and patterns could lean towards chaotic, we layered a sea grass runner between layers and stuck to simple ceramics which allows each pattern to play off each other without appearing busy. Take your color theme one step further and coordinate appetizers to match the vibrant colors that are echoed around the table for a stunning spread.
